Come and learn evidence-informed play therapy interventions for helping children, tweens and teens and practice integrative techniques for child survivors of trauma. 

Internationally recognized author, presenter and play therapist Sueann Kenney-Noziska will share clear and compelling information, describe instructive case examples and lead us in playful practice of techniques during two full days of learning. 

The dynamic workshops will be of interest to beginning, intermediate and advanced child, adolescent, and family therapists across a variety of theoretical orientations.  The workshops are designed to complement and build on each other for a two-day sequence and may be also be attended singly.

Who Should Attend

The workshop is designed for mental health professionals and therapists working with children and adolescents navigating emotional and behavioral disturbances or trauma.  Professionals, faculty, or students in mental health, education, and allied health professions are invited to attend, including:

Play therapy credit will not be awarded to non-mental health professionals. Participants in the field of mental health can earn continuing education units from their professional organizations.  All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

Go to the Association for Play Therapy site at http://www.a4pt.org to complete the application online and pay your dues (I am happy to be named as your “sponsor’ in the application).  You can then register for this conference with the reduced rate.

Self Esteem Shop will be on-site!
Therapy materials will be available for purchase on-site! Workshop attendees will have an opportunity to find just the children’s books, puppets, miniatures, or professional resource you need. You can shop and visit with your colleagues right at the conference site.
