VAPT RECOGNITION

The Virginia chapter was recognized at the 2003 International conference in Norfolk for increasing its membership by 35% last year, with Robyn Rennie contributing the largest increase in membership. GO GIRL!!

The Virginia chapter was also awarded the Gold Branch Award. Way to Go Playmates!!

GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

At the International Play Therapy Conference, two workshops were provided to the community. Terry Kottman and VAPT member-Debbie Balak conducted Anchoring Play to Counseling, a community workshop for professionals. Louise Guerney and VAPT member Robyn Rennie conducted Head for the Harbor, a parent workshop, designed particularly for families of military personnel.
